Poem of a minor

Haiku

The ladybug lands
Upon a bright clue flower
As the sun shines bright

Limerick

There once was a man named Jim
That fell down and broke a limb
It was because he fell from a house
Since he was scared by a mouse
"you're so clumsy" says his wife Kim.

I think that the way any poem is formatted influences the way in which the content is perceived by the reader. Especially in poems such as the limerick. The rhyming scheme allows for a comical to the poem and allows the reader to stay interested. Also in a Haiku the format influences the context since it is breif and to the point.
